Vote on Burbank Campus Plan Delayed Until June 28

The Pasadena Unified School Board was scheduled to vote on a plan tonight to transform the Burbank Elementary school campus, but will not vote until June 28.

The Pasadena Unified School Board was scheduled to vote Tuesday night on a plan that would bring various pre-schools and non-profits to the campus of the Burbank Elementary School, but after a Monday community meeting the district has pulled the item from the agenda and will take the vote on June 28.

The plan was discussed Monday night at a community meeting in Altadena, and would involve $150,000 to $170,000 of construction to bring new parking spots and transform facilities at the campus.

A PUSD board vote to commit to the plan on May 24 failed after that the Altadena community had not been informed about it.
