• Investigation ongoing months after Redding nonprofit leader's dismissal (redding.com) — Anderson Police Department is leading an ongoing investigation into alleged financial misconduct involving a Shasta County nonprofit, a case that’s been active for more than a year and shuttling between Anderson PD and the county DA. Local officials say the lengthy probe, which began after a Redding-based youth organization dismissed its director, remains open and active, with no charges filed to date.
