3. 40 laptops stolen from Antioch nonprofit (nbcbayarea.com) — A local Antioch nonprofit, RR Transitional Housing, is scrambling after burglars stole 40 Chromebooks worth nearly $20,000 from its West 2nd Street learning center just days before summer programs begin. BART train hits person on tracks at Walnut Creek station (cbsnews.com) — BART riders heading toward Antioch faced major Yellow Line delays Monday morning after a train hit a person on the tracks at Walnut Creek station. The station briefly closed while emergency crews responded and the injured person was taken to a hospital, with no foul play suspected, before service gradually resumed in both Antioch and SFO directions.
