Local athletes, coaches, and a community leader with deep Antioch ties are being recognized, and residents can still buy tickets to join the celebration.
   

• Raley's Shutters Contra Costa Store Amid Wider Bay Area Move (patch.com) — Raley's is closing several more Bay Area and Nevada supermarkets, after already shutting its Antioch store in April as part of a broader reshuffling.
