Celebrate Summer Reading with Bay Area artist Abraham Rodriguez as he shares nature inspired arts and crafts with live in-person tutorials! Best suited for ages 5-15 years. 

Plant A Seed, Read! The Contra Costa County Library’s 2026 summer literacy program is all about feeding your body and your mind! Whether you’re planting a flower garden, growing your next meal, or fueling your brain, the library is your greatest resource in finding everything you need to thrive this summer.

From June 1 to August 1, participate in Summer Reading to nourish your mind, spend time in the great outdoors, and challenge yourself to have fun!
