• Highway 74 fully shut down after shooting east of Anza (kesq.com) — Highway 74 is completely closed between Palm Desert and SR-371 after a shooting near Ribbonwood Drive in the Anza area, leaving one person critically injured and another detained. Drivers from Anza and nearby communities should expect 6 to 10 hours of detours via SR-243 or through Hemet while deputies and CHP investigate.
