Peacocks Love The Eagles, Watch One Sing Solo At Arcadia Pops Concert
While the Pops played an Eagles tribute to a sunset crowd in Arcadia, a local peacock started singing backup vocals.

ARCADIA, CA — Only in Arcadia. During a local Arcadia High School Pops Concert, several peacocks wandered in front of the orchestra playing an Eagles tribute Thursday night at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Garden in Arcadia.
"The peacocks may have been a little off key and unpredictable during this Eagles collection, but the student musicians were not fazed one bit," Arcadia resident and Arcadia Unified School District Information Officer Ryan Foran said.
A giggle or two can be heard from the unseen audience in attendance, but that's to be expected. Peacocks in Arcadia are far from a rare sight, especially at the Botanical Garden. The peacocks were brought to the Arboretum and Botanical Garden by Elias J. “Lucky” Baldwin, and now more than 150 birds reside on the premises, according to staff at The Arboretum. Visitors are reminded not to feed the peacocks, however the birds are basically allowed to go wherever they please. During the concert, peacocks were seen traipsing their tail feathers back and forth across the lawn in front of the high school orchestra.

"The audience definitely got a little more beauty than it bargained for, and the crowd didn’t mind," Foran said.
This was the 58th annual Arcadia High Pops Concert, held Wednesday May 17 and Thursday May 18 at the picturesque Arboretum in Arcadia where the peacocks are a plenty.
