Pinnacle Educational Center Reacts to Asian Educational Demands
Pinnacle Educational Center has ramped up its services for Asian families and students seeking educational opportunities in the U.S.

Pinnacle Educational Center has recently ramped up its services for Asian families and students seeking educational
opportunities in the U.S.
“Most parents in China and other Asian countries have only one child so education is viewed as a focused investment in many Asian households,” said Dr. Paul R. Lowe, Pinnacle’s CEO and president and managing director of Admissions Advisors Group. “We have learned that affluent Asian families want the best for their children and are willing to pay for expert
guidance and access to send their children to western developed countries for a world-class education. To Asian parents, a superior education and a pedigree degree for their child, is worth more than real estate or luxury items. “
A HBSC survey indicated that 82% of affluent families in China plan to send their children to study overseas. From 2009 to 2011, the number of Asian students studying in the US has increased by 40%. The U.S. is now the primary destination for Asian students. China is the number one source of international students.
A recent Graduate Management Admissions Council report indicated that one in five people in 2011 who took the GMAT, the business school entrance exam, was from China. The number of tests taken by Asian citizens rose 45% from last year,
to 58,196.
“We can extrapolate that with the steady economic growth and expanding middle class in Asia, the age groups for studying in the US will be younger”, said Veronica Hanley, co-managing director of the Admissions Advisors Group. “We see more and more Asian students applying to elite and prestigious private day and boarding schools, as well as Ivy League undergraduate and graduate school programs.”
Pinnacle has collaborated with marketing/advertising firm DeJoseph Ohlsen Group, LLC, and research analyst,
Yijia Wu in the development and marketing to Asian families.
Lynn DeJoseph, creative director, says the decision to accommodate the increased demand is a part of Pinnacle’s
global marketing campaign to accommodate international students and families. “By demand, Pinnacle and its
affiliates are extending their reach into Asia and we are observing a positive response,” she added.
