• Atwater Police Investigate Apparent Accidental Shooting That Killed Teen (losbanosenterprise.com) — Atwater police are investigating an apparent accidental shooting that killed a teenage boy at a home on Elm Avenue Monday afternoon. Officers say two teens were handling a gun in a bedroom when it discharged, and the victim died despite life-saving efforts. The friend stayed at the scene and is cooperating as police continue their investigation.
