Baldwin Park Week Ahead Weather

Light showers across the region, and cool temperatures remain. Here is what to expect in your town.

BALDWIN PARK, CA — A weak weather system will trigger light showers in the Los Angeles area Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

A combination of rain and cloudy skies was forecast in L.A. County Tuesday, along with highs of 55 degrees Fahrenheit on Mount Wilson; 60 in Arcadia, Palmdale and Lancaster; 61 in Claremont, Glendora and Saugus; 62 in Avalon, Baldwin Park, Diamond Bar, Woodland Hills and Burbank; 63 in Pasadena, Walnut and at LAX; 64 in San Gabriel; and 65 in Long Beach and downtown L.A.

Temperatures will fall by 2-3 degrees Wednesday amid cloudy skies in L.A. County and sunny skies in Orange County.

Thursday is forecast to be sunny and in the low 60s. No rain is expected until Sunday and Monday of next week.

Less than a quarter-inch of rain is expected in most areas, according to an NWS statement, and both clouds and precipitation should start to clear out Tuesday evening, setting the stage for a bout of dry weather forecast to last through Saturday afternoon.

The chance of precipitation was set at 50 percent Tuesday in most of L.A County but 60 percent in the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area.

Northerly winds are expected Wednesday into Thursday before shifting to the northeast Friday amid a weak Santa Ana event, the NWS said.

Rain is expected to return at the weekend, persisting into early next week, according to the NWS.

Cloudy skies were forecast in Orange County, along with highs of 62 in Dana Point and Seal Beach; 63 in Aliso Viejo, Corona Del Mar, Fountain Valley, Laguna Beach and San Clemente; 64 in Laguna Niguel, Los Alamitos and Newport Beach; 65 in Lake Forest and Rancho Santa Margarita; 67 in Yorba Linda, Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano and Anaheim; 68 in Fullerton; and 69 in Irvine.
