Class Begins: Ballet Folklorico de Carolina

Ballet Folklorico specializes in cultural dances

from Mexico and Spain. This technical training

includes ballet warm-ups, footwork, body

movement, skirt movement, choreography, and

stage presence.

Ages: 5 years & older

Cost: Residents $33 Non-Residents $43

Session 1: June 22 – July 27

Session 2: August 3 – September 7

Session 3: September 14 – October 19

Session 4: October 26 – December 14

Schedule

Beginner Folklorico

(5 – 9 years) 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Intermediate Folklorico

(10 – 17 years) 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Adult Folklorico

(18 years & older) 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Required Class Wear: Participants are required

to have Ballet Folklorico shoes and female

participants are required to wear leotards, tights,

a full circle long skirt, and have their hair pulled

back into a bun or ponytail. Boys must wear

sweats and boots.
