1 Dead, Another Injured In Banning Collision

BANNING, CA — One person died and another person was injured in a crash involving one vehicle in Banning early Saturday.

First responders arrived to John and Hargrave streets at 12:42 a.m where firefighters found the vehicle on the side of the road, according to the Riverside County Fire Authority.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene while another was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries. Their identities were not immediately released.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the cause of the crash.
