1 Dead In Banning Freeway Crash

The fatal wreck was reported at 10 a.m. Monday on westbound Interstate 10.

BANNING, CA — At least one person was confirmed dead Monday in a crash at the E. Ramsey Street onramp to Interstate 10, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The solo-vehicle wreck was reported at 10 a.m., the agency said.

Preliminary reports from the California Highway Patrol indicate a vehicle went off the westbound side of the freeway and landed in front of the Caltrans Banning Station at 2033 E. Ramsey St.
