1 Dead In Banning Off-Road Crash

BANNING, CA — One person was killed Friday night in an "off-road" crash in Banning, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The two-vehicle wreck was reported at 5:18 p.m. at Nicolet and 22nd streets, according to the agency.

The fatal crash was described by the fire department as an "off-road side-by-side." It's unclear what type of vehicles were involved. The crash cause is under investigation.

The victim, whose identity was not released, died at the scene.
