1 Person Killed In Ramona Expressway Crash

PERRIS, CA — One person was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in the unincorporated Nuevo area of Riverside County near Perris.

The crash was reported on Ramona Expressway at Hansen Avenue about 4:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Both vehicles ended up off the road and one was on its side, the CHP said.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the Riverside County Fire Department said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation. The name of the victim was not disclosed.
