104th Annual Ramona Pageant Spanish Dancers Begin Rehearsals for 2026 Season

Excitement is building for the 104th year of the beloved Ramona Pageant, as performers prepare for the 2026 season with six performances scheduled: April 18, 19, 25, 26, and May 2 and 3 at the historic Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre in Hemet.

One of the most colorful and memorable elements of the production is the Spanish Dance ensemble. Known for their vibrant costumes, lively choreography, and dynamic presence, the dancers are already hard at work perfecting their routines. Because the Ramona Pageant is a community-driven
production, evening rehearsals are currently being held at the Golden Era Golf Course Clubhouse, allowing participants to practice after school and work hours.

For more than 20 years, Mark Morgan and Maria Morgan have coordinated and led the Spanish Dancers, gathering performers from across the community.

Maria Morgan shared, “The Director has hand-picked the dancers this year. We are excited and look forward to a great show.”

The Ramona Pageant continues its long-standing tradition as a true community production, featuring a cast of nearly 400 volunteers who donate their time and talents each year. The Spanish Dancers represent just one of many groups contributing to the success of the pageant.

“We are thankful that Golden Era has a space where we can rehearse at night when our dancers — all of whom have work or school during the day — are available,” Morgan added. “They are just one part of so many in the community who contribute to the Ramona Pageant.”

This year’s cast holds tremendous promise, with organizers anticipating one of the strongest productions in recent memory. For those who have never experienced the Ramona Pageant, the scale, dedication, and passion of the performers — especially the unforgettable Spanish Dancers — make it an event not to be missed.
