2 Killed In I-10 Rollover Crash in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — Two people died early Sunday morning in a rollover crash in Beaumont, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. Commuters were advised to avoid Interstate 10 and Oak Valley Parkway Sunday morning due to the investigation.

The solo-vehicle crash happened at about 5:30 a.m., according to the fire department. The vehicle flipped over, and both people inside died at the scene, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.

Authorities did not publicly identify the victims pending notification of their families.
