3.5-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Southern California

No injuries or damage have been reported.

FONTANA, CA — An earthquake rattled the Fontana area on Saturday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The preliminary 3.5-magnitude earthquake, with a depth of about 1.5 miles, was reported at 2:17 p.m. about 4 miles northwest of Fontana.

Residents felt some shaking in the San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles and Santa Clarita areas, according to the USGS.
