All American towing rip offs!

Cesar Chavez holiday fee? Really

I would like to complain about the towing company All American out out Banning. My husband was on his way to work and he was waiting for a train to pass. Our truck stalled as he was waiting and would not restart. He was first in line at the tracks so he had to push it out of the way to let everyone by. He left it parked about 25 feet from the tracks and walked to work to get someone to come help him start it. Before he got back the Banning Police Dept. had it towed, by All American. So when I got off of work, I had to get a police release of the truck, and take that to the tow yard with a fee of $77 dollars. So the tow yard tells me It Is another fee of $250 for the tow, $60 for storage just for 3 hours, and then they say they charged $138 dollars for a franchise fee. When I asked what this was they said it was because it was a police call. Then they said they were closed because it was Cesar Chavez holiday and I would owe another fee for that. I told them that the Police department said it was not a national holiday and that they could not charge for that. So he told me he would call me back, and he never did. I had to wait outside the yard until someone came. He could not explain the franchise fee, said it was because of a police call, that is their fee. So I had to pay this $138 dollar fee for who knows what. I asked him to explain what it was he said he was just a driver and he didn't know. I ask to talk to the owner and he just walked away. I heard from others after sharing my story that they have pending lawsuits for their business practices. They need to be stopped if they cannot explain their laws This is not the last time they will hear from me. Stay far away from All American Towing they are cheating people out of their money. Had to have my truck towed from there home using AAA after they pulled the truck out of their yard and left it on the street and drove off. What kind of business does that?
