Amber Alert Update: Alert Canceled, Girl Found Safe, Reports Indicate
BREAKING: She was taken from San Bernardino County.
UPDATE TUESDAY 3:30 P.M.: A year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert issued out of San Bernardino County was found safe Tuesday in Montclair with her father, who was arrested on suspicion of abducting her. Lexi Segura was found about 9:20 a.m. when her father was pulled over near Holt Boulevard and Monte Vista Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Detectives saw a gray Chevrolet Malibu whose driver matched the description of the suspect and made a traffic stop. A handgun was found in Daniel Segura's possession at the time of his arrest, the sheriff's department reported.
"Lexi ... was found in the vehicle and is in good physical condition," according to a sheriff's statement that said the child was being reunited with her mother.

Segura, 38, was to be booked at West Valley Detention Center on suspicion of child abduction.
According to the sheriff's department, the girl was abducted in Rancho Cucamonga about 5:30 p.m. Monday, triggering an Amber Alert. The vehicle her father was believed to be driving at the time of the abduction was found unoccupied in Pomona Tuesday morning.

TUESDAY UPDATE: Authorities searching for a man and the year-old daughter he abducted in Rancho Cucamonga Tuesday found the car in which they had been traveling abandoned in Pomona, but there was no sign of the infant or her father, who is described as armed an dangerous.
Lexi Segura was abducted about 5:30 p.m. Monday by 38-year-old Daniel Segura, and an Amber Alert was issued. It was cancelled after the car turned up, but the search was continuing for the girl and her father.
The two were believed to have been traveling in a red 2012 Mitsubishi Galant, license plate 6WEE209, which was found unoccupied in Pomona Tuesday, said Jodi Miller of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department.
Lexi is Hispanic, 3 feet tall, about 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a baby blue shirt with gold writing, blue jeans and pink shoes, authorities said.
Daniel Segura is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt, a dark baseball cap and blue jeans, authorities said. He has numerous tattoos on his arms and neck.
Anyone who spots them was urged to call 911 or the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department at (866) 346-7635.

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY , CA - The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for Lexi Segura, a 1 year old Hispanic female, 3 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a baby blue shirt with gold writing, blue jeans and pink shoes.
The CHP reports that she was abducted at 5:40 p.m. from Rancho Cucamunga. The alert is for the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino.
Suspect: The suspect, Daniel Segura, is a 38 year old Hispanic male, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a dark t-shirt, dark baseball cap and blue jean pants. He has numerous tattoos on his arms and neck and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Suspect Vehicle: The suspect was last seen driving a 2012 red Mitsubishi Galant, with a California license plate number 6wee209.
