The person who found the victim told sheriff’s deputies that they had occasional conversations with the victim. The victim, who spoke fluent Spanish, was homeless and believed to be from Michoacán, Mexico, the reporting party told the sheriff’s department.

The law enforcement agency said the victim was 34-35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighed 183 pounds. He had brown eyes, black hair, and a goatee. His hair and goatee were recently trimmed. He had no tattoos.

The sheriff’s department has listed him as John Doe #47-26. Anyone with information about the decedent is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Division at 909-387-2978; reference case #702602297.
