SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA— A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck with an epicenter near Redlands, in San Bernardino County, on early Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The 3.4 quake was reported just after 7:45 a.m., according to reports, and was felt across Southern California according to the Did You Feel It report.
The quake rattled nearby residents in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, including the cities of Hemet, Banning, Beaumont, as well as residents of Riverside and Palm Desert, according to initial reports. Some felt rumblings as far away as Temecula, Murrieta, Oceanside and Long Beach. USGS has asked all who felt it to chime in on its Did You Feel It report.
No injuries were reported as a result of today's quake.
On Sunday, another nearby quake, this one measuring 3.6, rattled the community in and around Cabazon.
That quake happened just before 8:45 a.m. about 6 miles northeast of Cabazon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
No damages or injuries were reported. People near the area reported feeling weak to light intensity shaking, according to the USGS.
