REDLANDS, CA— A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck with an epicenter near Redlands, in San Bernardino County, on Tuesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The 3.1 quake was reported around 10:45 a.m., about 7 kilometers south-southwest of Redlands, at a depth of 6 kilometers, according to USGS reports.
The quake rattled nearby residents in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, including the cities of Hemet, Banning, Beaumont, Corona as well as residents of Riverside and Los Angeles, according to initial reports.
USGS has asked all who felt it to chime in on its Did You Feel It report.
No injuries were reported as a result of today's quake.
