Banning Apartment Fire Displaces 3 People

BANNING, CA — Firefighters battled a single-story quadplex fire overnight Tuesday, leaving three people without shelter in Banning, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The blaze ignited in the 300 block of North 8th Street shortly before 9 p.m., according to a department spokesperson.

Firefighters worked the scene until approximately 11 p.m. the Red Cross assisted those displaced following the fire and smoke damage.
