Banning Ballet Leader Appearing in No. Hollywood Production of 'Silent Roar'

The leader of the San Gorgonio Ballet is performing in the multimedia production of "Silent Roar: A Whale's Journey" at El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.
Julia Olsen-Rodriguez, founding artistic director of the San Gorgonio Ballet, said she was invited to audition and got the part in "Silent Roar."
The production is being presented by the Annenberg Foundation and the multi-dimensional Theatre Bethune.

The production opened Oct. 7 and continues this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Permances are scheduled at 8 p.m. Friday Oct. 14 and Saturday Oct. 15, and at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.
