Banning, Beaumont Cheer Squads, Bands Ready for Showdown in the Pass
As the varsity teams at both schools prepare to square off, Broncos and Cougars cheer squads are ready for 'the oldest football rivalry in Riverside County.'
The Banning-Beaumont football rivalry dates back generations and precedes World War II.
Over the years it's come to be known as "Riverside County's oldest football rivalry," "the War of the Wheel," and "the Battle in the Pass."
When the Broncos and Cougars square off at 7 p.m. Friday in Banning, players on both sides of the field will be ready.
