Banning City Council Voting to Increase WATER RATES...........

URGENT! ATTENTION CITIZENS of BANNING:

Banning City Council will be voting on raising our water rates 100% at this meeting on Tuesday, August 22nd at 5:00 pm. It's time to make a stand and be heard this is NOT acceptable to the people of Banning!!!!!

Why do they want to increase it 100%? Wasn't it just recently increased?

Back in 2005, Banning sold bonds for water and electricity. They squandered the money on other projects. Now the money is due. Art Welch and Debbie Franklin were on the Council when the money was used elsewhere.

In another words, the 100% is an 25% increase every year for 4 years.

If enough people fill the meeting room, their presence will represent the citizens of the Pass, who are uniting and making a stand and saying to the Members of the City Council........"Enough! Represent the people that are saying NO!"
