Banning Fire Displaces Resident

BANNING, CA — Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at a multifamily residential structure in Banning Tuesday night, according to authorities.

The blaze was reported at 9:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Williams Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The Red Cross was requested for one displaced resident, the agency said.

Firefighters remained on the scene for several hours, according to the department.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation by Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
