The ceremony will include the unveiling of the newly renamed Teen Center, honoring Herr, whose vision helped establish the organization and expand opportunities for young people throughout the region.

Since its founding, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass has provided programs designed to create safe, supportive spaces where youth can learn, develop leadership skills and build confidence, according to the recent news release. Organizers say thousands of young people in the Pass area have participated in the club’s programs over the past two decades.
