Banning Unified Accepting School Board Applications
Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Sept. 28.

According to its website the Banning Unified School District is accepting applications for the vacancy on its governing board.
The district is accepting applications through 4 p.m. Sept. 28.
The appointee would be taking the spot left by Wendell Bainter, who resigned Aug. 31.
According to the website, a qualified candidate must be:
- A California registered voter residing within the boundaries of Banning Unified School District
- At least 18 years of age
- Not disqualified by the constitution or laws of the state from holding a civil office
- Not an employee of the Banning Unified School District Should and any such employee choose to apply and is selected, employment would be terminated upon being sworn in to office.
Applications are available to download online at www.banning.k12.ca.us or may be picked up in the Superintendent’s Office at the Banning Unified School District Office, 161 W. Williams Street, Banning, CA 92220.
