Broncos get swept by Twentynine Palms and now go on a 3-game road trip.

Her team is off to a 0-2 start, it hasn’t won a game and now the Broncos are preparing for a tough a three match road streak.

Her team sat silent after Thursday’s 25-6, 25-12, 25-13 loss to Twentynine Palms.

“I see a lot work,” Torres said.”We have to work on it. We have to work together and get that feel going.”

The Broncos opened the season on Tuesday with a 25-10, 25-8, 25-13 loss at Loma Linda Academy.

Banning’s next three matches are at Citrus Hill, Hamilton and Shadow Hills.

“We’ve got to start meshing together,” Torres said.

Banning’s varsity lineup features just three players from last season, the rest of the roster filled up by last season’s junior varsity and frosh/soph teams.

“Some of it is the basics,” Torres said. “And some of it is just having that feeling that their teammate is going to get me on the left and so and so is going to get me on the right.”

Sabrina Pappas led the Broncos with two kills.
