Beaumont Extends Nomination Period For Clerk, Treasurer
The filing period for these offices have been extended because both incumbents did not file nomination papers for re-election.

From The City of Beaumont: The filing period for non-incumbents for the offices of City Clerk and City treasurer have been extended. The new deadline for nomination papers for the City Clerk seat and City Treasurer seat is August 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
The filing period for these offices have been extended because both incumbents did not file nomination papers for re-election. Per California Election Code Section 10225 the nomination period has been extended. This filing extension does not apply to the office of Council Member.
Any Beaumont resident age 18 or older who is registered to vote, may apply for candidacy of City Treasurer or City Clerk by making an appointment with the City Clerkās Office. For more information please contact Deputy City Clerk, Nicole Wheelwright (951) 572-3196
