The Cougars, winless in the Mountain Pass League, face the Titans - also winless in league play - Friday night in Hemet.
No longer in the Mountain Pass League playoff race, Beaumont High's football team can look to the future while honing its skills in the final two games this season.
The Cougars (2-6 overall, 0-3 in league) travel to Hemet Friday for a Mountain Pass League game against Tahquitz. Game time is 7 p.m.
Beaumont's hopes at any playoff spot is dire, as the Cougars would need to win their final two games and then get some help from other teams in their league. The Cougars will likely be hoping for a wild card berth.
