Beaumont High Cheerleaders at 66ers Baseball Saturday in San Bernardino
Cougars varsity and junior varsity cheer squad members are planning to attend and perform at the Inland Empire 66ers game Sept. 3 against the Stockton Ports. Gates at Arrowhead Credit Union Park, 280 South E. St., open at 6 p.m.
Beaumont High varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders are scheduled to perform Saturday at the Inland Empire 66ers minor league baseball game in San Bernardino.
About 40 members of the Cougars cheer squads are expected to take part, said Angie Hubbs, secretary for Beaumont High's cheer booster club.
"They gave us 350 tickets to share with family and friends," Hubbs said Monday. "There will be a lot of parents and other people from Beaumont there."

Gates at the 66ers' home field, 5,000-seat Arrowhead Credit Union Park, 280 South E. St., open at 6 p.m. Saturday for the 7:05 p.m. game against the Stockton Ports, according to the 66ers.
Beaumont's varsity cheer squad is scheduled to perform in centerfield at 6:30 p.m., and at 7 p.m. they will team with 66ers cheerleaders to form a tunnel when the players enter the ballpark, Hubbs said.

The varsity cheer squad also plans to perform the Village People's "YMCA" on top of the visitors' dugout in the middle of the third inning, Hubbs said.
The junior varsity cheer squad plans to perform "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on the visitors' dugout during the seventh-inning stretch, Hubbs said.
Management for the 66ers plan to present a donation to Beaumont High's cheer squads at some point during the evening, Hubbs said.
Tickets for Saturday's game are $5, $6, $8, and $10, and parking is $4, said Kevin Shaw, vice-president of marketing for the 66ers.
"Saturday night is also Heroes Night, and we'll be honoring police, fire and military," Shaw said. "It should be a great family night."
The 66ers are the Class A - Advanced affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and they play in the 10-team California League.
