Beaumont High Student Breaks Silence, Admits Sex With Teacher

English teacher Samantha Ciotta now faces three felony charges for having an alleged sexual relationship with an underage boy.

BEAUMONT, CA — A former Beaumont High School student told police that he would “no longer lie” to cover for the English teacher now facing three felony charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor, Patch has learned.

On Monday, Riverside County prosecutors charged Beaumont High teacher Samantha Ciotta with one count of oral copulation with a minor and two counts of sexual intercourse with the underage boy in June, the complaint states.

Police launched an investigation after hearing reports of Ciotta having an affair with a student and a scandalous Snapchat video that allegedly showed the 32-year old married mother of two wearing only "a shirt and panties" while drinking alcohol with two shirtless minors, according to records obtained by Patch.

Ciotta was arrested on Sept. 20, about six months after allegedly having sex with her former student, and remains free on bond.

When police first questioned the former Beaumont student about his relationship with Ciotta, the boy “became angry and stated 'I'm done, and I've moved on. I'm not f------ talking!'" documents show.

The alleged victim told police he “tried cover for Ciotta so she would not get in trouble,” but ended his silence when he learned that Ciotta — after having sex with the boy’s 19-year old friend — reportedly said her former student “had ruined her life,” according to documents filed in support of a search warrant.

“He decided to no longer lie for her,” the document states.

The boy told investigators he had “penis to vagina” sex with Ciotta at least five times, and that the former Beaumont teacher engaged in oral sex on him on multiple occasions. The victim told investigators he couldn’t be sure how many times Ciotta performed oral sex on him because he was “intoxicated during most of the times,” according to court papers filed this week.

After Ciotta’s arrest police sources said investigators were trying to determine if Ciotta molested other minors. The charging documents filed in Riverside County Superior Court this week only reference one victim, according to court documents.

Neither Ciotta nor her husband immediately returned calls seeking comment Tuesday night.

Ciotta, who remains on paid leave from the school district, is set to appear in court Dec. 27.
