Beaumont Library Revamps Youth & Outreach Programs for 2019
New activities and bookmobile stops scheduled for children, teens, and families!

With new staff and new ideas, Beaumont Library is revamping its youth and outreach programs for 2019.
There will still be regular activities for the very young, but they may be on different days or at different times. Toddler Story Time, for ages 0 to 2, will only take place on Tuesdays at 10 a.m., but Pre-K Story Time, for ages 3 to 5, will remain on Thursdays and Fridays at 10 a.m., and new Tween Tuesdays programs will be held weekly at 4 p.m.
In addition, there will be a new Pajama Story Time for all ages on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m., a Family Night program for all ages on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5 p.m., and Family Story Time for all ages on the last Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m.

Teens will be able to take part in drop-in activities like Virtual Reality on the first Thursday of each month at 4 p.m., Anime most Friday afternoons at 4 p.m., and Book2Film programs on the last Friday of each month at 4 p.m. They can also look forward to an art journal series, an author talk, the Brush Bot Challenge, and a Valentine workshop, all of which will be publicized soon.
The Library's Bookmobile, which features books and DVDs for all ages, will have Monday stops with a story time at 11:30 a.m. at the Chatigny Community Center, Tuesday stops at 2:30 at the Beaumont Sports Park, Friday stops at 8:30 a.m. (with a story time at 9) at Petco, and Saturday stops at 9 a.m. at Trevino Park and 10 a.m. at Nicklaus Park.
