Beaumont Police Remind Residents To Clear Out Mailboxes
The police department launched this week a new series called "Monday Mail Call"

BEAUMONT, CA — Beaumont police launched a new initiative on Monday, aimed at proactively stopping some crimes before they happen in the community. For the next several weeks, they'll be doing a feature called "Monday Mail Call," or #mondaymailcall.
"This week's #mondaymailcall is a reminder that tax season is here," Beaumont police said.
"Important identity information is printed on your tax documents, these documents and tax refunds are sitting in your mailbox," the agency said. "Avoid being a victim of mail theft and empty your mailbox everyday! An empty box leaves a thief empty handed!"
