Beaumont Spirit Run Saturday Morning

Last year's Spirit Run netted more than $11,000, which was divided equally among nine schools, according to organizers.

The 2nd Annual Spirit Run to benefit Beaumont schools is scheduled Saturday, Sept. 10, in Stewart Park.

Last year's inaugural Spirit Run raised more than $11,000 in supplemental funding for education programs at six elementary schools, two middle schools, and the high school, according to organizers.

This year organizers hope for more than 500 participants, as well as volunteers, vendors and sponsors.
