Blaze Erupts At Vacant Strip Mall In Riverside County: Cal Fire
Fire crews focused on a confined space where the blaze erupted, containing it within 15 minutes.
JURUPA VALLEY, CA — A fire broke out Friday afternoon inside an abandoned strip mall in Jurupa Valley and burned through the roof, fire officials said.
The blaze was reported at 12:12 p.m. inside the vacant building located on the northeast corner of Packard Avenue and Mission Boulevard, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Multiple engine and truck crews were sent to the blaze and encountered smoke billowing out from a hole burned through the roof, fire officials said.
