City of Beaumont Stopped Sending Meeting Notices to Citizens
Three Different Excuses Add Up to One Corrupt City Government - With Council's Direction and Approval of Course

The City of Beaumont has stopped sending out Meeting Notices as Required by California State Law. This certainly isn't the first time the City Staff and Council have conspired to hide their illegal activity from the Public, but it certainly is one of the most childish and ineffective ways to keep the Public informed of their activities.
The City stopped sending Meeting Notices two weeks ago, but not one Councilman noticed. Like their Property Taxes and Utility Bills; the City Council are in the dark.
The City also changed their website address without notice and has changed the Councilmen's email addresses four (4) times without notifying the City Councilmen.

Mayor Julio Martinez did not know that the City changed his email address. He stopped receiving emails, but he never questioned why. Julio 'trust his staff'.
Below are the three lies the City of Beaumont has stated in the last two weeks.

#1 "Stuck in the outbox and didn’t get sent" was the excuse two weeks ago.
#2 The notices went out at 2:15 on Friday afternoon.
#3 Hi Judy,
I wanted to give you an update, we are having issues with our main website at the moment, and we think the notification issue is tied to it. I’m not able to send out the notification at this time, but Civic Plus is currently working on the issue. In the meantime, below is the link to the agenda, and we will work to have a solution within the week. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

And how much is the "I.T. Budget"?
It's 'only' a $1 Million - up from $100,000 a few years ago, so I guess we're getting what the City sold another play to pay contract for.
