Coroner IDs 2 Beaumont Men Who Died In Apparent Murder-Suicide
One man was found dead on the kitchen floor and another was dead inside a bedroom, police said.
BEAUMONT, CA —The identities of two men who died in an apparent murder-suicide in Beaumont Saturday night have been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.
The bureau identified Joshua Vasquez, 41, as the person who was shot first, at 11:07 p.m. Seven minutes later, Jeromy Smith, 48, also suffered fatal wounds.
Police were investigating the shooting after a woman called 911 and reported that her husband was holding a gun and had just shot a neighbor at a home in the 35000 block of Trevino Trail, according to the Beaumont Police Department.

Upon arriving at the home, officers found one man dead on the kitchen floor and another inside a bedroom, police said.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the shooting was a murder- suicide, according to police.
