On Friday June 14 Mind Your Own Beaumont sent an Email to Mayor White. The email was questioning Whites conflict of intrest regarding his employer. Questions were also raised over White receiving free landscape Services provided by taxpaying citizens of Beaumont. You can read the entire email here.

Here is Whites response to MYOB: "Your recent posting of a photo depicting the location of my family’s home was over the line.

My wife and kids are aware of the personal attacks you and Roger Berg are making against me. We accept that as a public official I am subject to attacks regardless of the validity of the attack. My wife and family are off limits.

When my wife and 15-year-old daughter realized that you drove to our home and took pictures depicting the location of our home and then posted one online, they were creeped out. Knowing you are inciting your supporters with your attacks, we are all concerned about our safety.

I demand that you immediately remove all photos depicting the location of my family’s home from the Patch and anywhere else they are posted online. I also demand that you never again post online photos depicting the location of my home. I also demand in the future you do not post my home address or personal phone number anywhere online. These demands include, but aren’t limited to, The Patch; your “Mind Your Own Beaumont” website and Facebook Group; and all other social media sites."

ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS MUST LIVE WITHIN CITY LIMITS. WHICH IS WHY ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS ADDRESS IS PUBLIC INFORMATION.

Here is my response: "I did not go out of my way to take those photos. As you know I provide a service to home owners some of which live in or around your area. I happened to be in your area at the time I took the photos. It was not my intention to creep anyone out.

All photos were taken off your property and on public property. The photos were of the areas in question. I don't believe those photos violate anyones privacy. May I remind you that addresses are public information stated on forms you provided for the public. The photos that were posted are nothing more than that what could be found on Google maps, also public information. I believe while on public property, you can take pictures of private property unless your property is a sensitive government building.

You may have provided your phone number or address on public documents. Therefore, I can not promise this information will not be posted. I do not recall specifically posting your address or your phone number. It may have been on public documents, but never intentionally or specifically.

I have always respected your family and always will hold that respect. I did not bring them into the political arena, you did with this email. I would expect better from our representatives.

Please do not avoid the questions with wild accusations. I would appreciate a response and clarity to the issues at hand."

All information posted is public information. The full emails can be found with a public record request through the city. The photos posted were on Mind Your Own Beaumont Facebook Closed Group
