MORENO VALLEY, CA — A car struck a single-story Moreno Valley home Thursday morning, injuring the driver and damaging the structure, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department information officer Jasmine Wood.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m., a vehicle collided with a home in the 10500 block of Village Road in Moreno Valley for unidentified reasons. Arriving medics tended to the driver, who was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.

Sheriff's deputies were investigating the cause of the crash.
