RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — As the ballot counts continue Wednesday in Riverside County, concerns about fraud, long lines, glitches, or other voter problems have been largely unfounded, with a few exceptions.

On Saturday, some of the voter assistance centers experienced intermittent delays due to significant volume in the voter registration lookup system, but the county was able to resolve the issue quickly.

One Murrieta Patch reader said, "I never received my ballot in the mail. Due to computer and internet issues Saturday, I had to wait 6 hours to vote in person at Dorothy McElhinney Middle School."

There were no reports of delays with the ballot marking machines at the voter assistance centers.

On Sunday, a massive caravan of Donald Trump supporters paraded for 60 miles through Riverside County on Sunday afternoon before converging on a large Temecula sports park, blocking access to the site, which included a vote center, snarling traffic and upsetting some voters.

"Law enforcement was contacted to ensure that access to the parking lot and voter assistance center were clear," Brooke Federico, a spokeswoman for Riverside County, said. "The sheriff's department responded and cleared access to the parking lot and voter assistance center."

No arrests were made.

Generally speaking though, the voting process was smooth in Riverside County.

One Temecula Patch reader said, "Went to the Rec Center and voted yesterday. Quiet and no line to speak of. Got there at the right time! Very friendly staff."

Riverside County's ballot tabulations are still underway, so there may be unforeseen challenges in coming days.

Approximately 400,000 vote-by-mail and 25,000 provisional ballots still must be processed in the county. Work on those began Wednesday morning. Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day also remain to be counted.

The next updated election results will be posted at 6 p.m. Thursday. See the live updated results here (scroll to see all the races):
