Gabe Ewing Works Through the Night With Jim Love to Save Alan Kapanicas
On the eve of Alan Kapanicas' last night in control of the City of Beaumont, Gabe Ewing and Jim Love work to save him.

Below is the body of a post from the Patch by Gabe Ewing, it was posted the evening of May 28, 2015. It is a copy and paste job from an email sent to the Pass Area Families For Good Government Political Action Committee (PAFFGG) hours earlier. An email sent by PAFFGG to its members calling them to action, telling them to email their council members. to save Alan Kapanicas' job. The photo above is of the original email, forwarded to the Council by Jim Love of Beaumont Electric.
Notice the time stamp on the original email, 3:36 and the time stamp on Love's forwarded email, one minute later, 3:37. Who do you think wrote the original email at 3:37? Could it be Love?
Mr. Love doesn't seem too bright, he left the original addresses of all the members of the PAFFGG on the email he forwarded to council. There were some very interesting names in the email addresses when I received a copy. Some names you would expect but others may really surprise you. The addresses were removed from the attached photo to protect their privacy. The only ones actively supporting Alan and the gang are Berg & Ewing and unlike B&E, I don't believe anyone else needs to be called out to be accountable for their support to those who tried to destroy Beaumont.

I believe in the words of the below email. Please do not put our city at risk by dismissing our city manager. There has been no charges brought up against Alan Kapanicas. To dismiss him or discipline him is wrong and against common core ethics. Lloyd White it is very immature of you to even consider and speak in behalf of the city like you did. I hope the rest of the council can see the risk involved if any of the actions are voted in.
Thank you
Gabe Ewing

Then:
Later that night, Gabe Ewing published the following post on the Patch. This post is another one of Ewing's "Lost Posts", posts in which he praises Alan and attacks the council for trying to kick him out of Beaumont. All these "Lost Posts" were removed by Ewing, probably after the handcuffs came out but that doesn't stop Berg & Ewing from going after those who did our community a big service by removing Kapanicas and the others who have harmed our city.

Disciplining or dismissing Alan Kapanicas is premature. Beaumont city manager did not disobey nor has he been charged with a crime.
To all of our friends,
The current City Council is having a special meeting this Friday night at 5 PM. According to Councilman Lloyd White in his quote to the Press Enterprise, the Council is set to either discipline or dismiss Alan Kapanicas. If this is truly the intended purpose of this meeting, then this action is premature and inappropriate.
Recently, the District Attorney’s office used its subpoena authority to collect records, and the State Controller has stated that there are inconsistencies in the City audit and filings with the State. However, there have been no actual allegations of wrong doing, only conjecture and innuendo. If the District Attorney files charges or the State audit comes back showing wrong-doing, then I would expect the Council to act and correct the situation. However, to make and/or follow allegations, which at this time are unfounded and unproven, with such impulsive action defies the basic principles of our democracy which is “innocent until proven guilty”. Furthermore, this also puts the Council in the wake of the effects of unnecessary character defamation.
We feel Mr. White’s statements were inappropriate. He does not speak for the entire council; he only speaks for himself and perhaps those who spread misinformation under the guise of “community watchdogs”. A small group of people are trying to destroy our great city; we feel that the silent majority needs to contact our City Council and let them know how we all feel.
We feel that Alan has done and is doing a great job. If you agree, please join us by either writing your own email or forwarding this one to the council.
