Historical awareness priorities with Banning City Leadership

The forum will focus on Banning's historical sites and landmarks and explore the city's interest in their preservation.

The San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society will host a discussion with Banning Mayor Art Welch and City Manager Doug Schulze at the society’s June 13 meeting. The conversation will explore the city’s priorities and concerns regarding Banning’s historical sites, events, materials, landmarks, issues and more. The 7 p.m. meeting will be held at the Beaumont Woman’s Club, 306 E. 6th St., Beaumont. A similar meeting was held with Beaumont city leadership in March.

It's one of the city's oldest buildings and its preservation is of grave concern to the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society.

All historical society meetings are free and open to non-members and friends of the society. Information about the society’s ongoing activities may be found on the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society Facebook page.
