Traffic was backed up in Beaumont for several miles Monday evening, after a three car crash led to the temporary closure of multiple lanes.
California Highway Patrol logs indicate the crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 10, just west of Highland Springs Avenue.
Beaumont police also closed the westbound onramp to I-10 at Pennsylvania while crews worked to clear the wreckage.

By 6:40 p.m., CHP logs indicated that the site was clear. No injuries were reported.
