Interstate 215 Weekend Shutdown Scheduled in Perris

The work is part of the $123.5M I-215 Central Project, which will add one new lane on each side of the freeway over a 12.5-mile stretch.

Alternating closures are planned on both sides of Interstate 215 in Perris this weekend so crews can complete repairs connected with an expansion project.

According to the Riverside County Transportation Commission, southbound I-215 will be completely closed between Ethanac Road and state Route 74 beginning at 10 p.m. Friday. Lanes will not be re-opened until 7 a.m. Saturday.

A full closure is also scheduled on the northbound 215 between Ethanac and the 74 on Saturday night. According to RCTC officials, the shutdown will begin at 11 p.m. and end about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, when all lanes will be re- opened.
