JOB FAIR: 400 Positions Being Filled for SoCal Ralphs Grocery Locations

Hundreds of jobs are up for grabs in Southern California this weekend, as grocery giant Ralphs holds a series of hiring events throughout the Southland.

According to the company, each Ralphs location across the region will take part in a hiring event on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"We have a wide variety of part-time positions that we need to fill in every Ralphs store in Southern California," said Kendra Doyel, vice president of Corporate Affairs for Ralphs Grocery Company. "Positions are available to friendly and engaging people in most every department, including front end, deli, meat, bakery and grocery."

Those interested in starting a career with Ralphs are encouraged to apply online at jobs.ralphs.com– before May 14.

"Then they can visit their neighborhood Ralphs supermarket on May 14 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a job interview," a press release announcing the hiring event states. "The positions for which Ralphs is hiring offer competitive wages, flexible schedules, benefits and room for advancement."

Ralphs Grocery Co. currently has more than 20,000 employees who serve customers in 204 supermarkets in Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

Ralphs, founded in 1873, is a subsidiary of The Kroger Co., one of the nation's largest food retailers, based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
