John Encinio, Full House Band Perform Thursday at Repplier Park in Banning

Strait Country had to cancel because of a family emergency, Playhouse Bowl organizer Patrick Stephens said.

John Encinio and the Full House Band were scheduled to perform Thursday night at Repplier Park in Banning.

Encinio and his band were late replacements for Strait Country, who had to cancel because one their members had a family emergency, organizers said.

Billed as a "high-energy performer," Encinio got his start in rodeo and initially enjoyed playing music for "cowboys and cowgirls from Texas, New Mexico and the Southwest.

The concert Thursday night will be the final Playhouse Bowl performance this summer.
